Welcome to my photography blog. My name is Zury and I'm a native artist from Miami, FL. I was born and raised in Miami but I love to travel as much as possible in order to capture the true beauty of this world. Even at a very young age I was always drawn to art because of my mother. As I was growing up she documented my childhood with her Canon SLR (film) camera. It would only be a matter of time before I would pick up my very own camera and never put it down. In high school I took a black & white film photography class where I learned how to develop and print my own photos in a dark room, and it was at this moment when my passion for photography truly blossomed.

After graduating from high school, I continued pursuing photography in my college education. This was where I began to perfect my craft and see the world in a whole new way. Photography has allowed me to capture the world from a perspective that most people would never notice. Most of the time people are distracted by the technology found in their hands that many fail to appreciate the beauty this world has to offer all around them.

Have you ever stopped on the side of the road to appreciate the vibrant colors of a sunset? Have you ever stopped to stare at the intricate patterns found on a butterfly’s wings as it lands on your finger? Have you ever seen a hummingbird hover right next to you to collect a flower’s nectar? These simple little details is what all of us sometimes take for granted. With the help of my camera, I’m able to freeze time and capture these precious moments that can forever be appreciated and admired.

I will be using this blog to post many of my travel photos, nature photos, and even various photoshoots with clients. Additionally, I will highlight some adventures along the way as I capture this big amazing world. Thank you for taking the time to read this post and learn a little bit about me.
